Chapter 2
(I’m still thinking of a title)
I awoke to the muffled sound of cars. I opened my eyes a little, trying to see were I even was. I must have fallen asleep.
I think to myself, as I attempt to sit up. As I opened my eyes a little
more, I found that I was actually sitting up; I was buckled into the
backseat of my mother’s car.
“Oh,
Shaun. I think she is awake,” I heard my mother's voice, but I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I soon heard someone turn around
in their seat.
“How
are you feeling?” he asked. I just nodded, actually not knowing what he
was asking me. “Honey, you fell asleep soon as you got into the car,”
he told me.
“Where are we going?” I asked, feeler as weak as ever.
“We
are taking you to the hospital. The school nurse told us everything
that happened. You need to have that nee looked at.” I just rolled my
eyes. Well DUH it needs to be looked at! I thought. And why are we going to the hospital? It isn't that bad, is it?

When we got into the hospital, my parents were running around like startled birds while I limped into the room.
“June, please sit down,” my mother said. “Your father and I are going
to try to get a doctor for you.” I just nodded as I took my seat.
